Scott Signs with Super Bowl Champs

Former NC State defensive back Miguel Scott has signed a free agent contract with the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Scott was invited to the rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis last week and was one of the seven in attendance that received contracts as announced by the Giants yesterday afternoon.
Scott was a three-year starter for the Wolfpack as a safety and recorded over 40 tackles during his senior season. He also had a crucial interception in the win over Miami this past season. He played in 42 games in his career with 27 of those being starts. He posted over 180 tackles and three interceptions during his time at NC State.
