I just can’t say enough about Whittenburg. Just to see him do what he did at the end of the game means a great deal to me personally. We kept going to him. It was a great basketball game for us.
“I thought we played well. We let it get away from us in overtime. It has been an emotional up-and-down year for us. We’ve struggled, but came back.
“So many times we got fouled in the overtime. I think that was the key. We let down a bit in the OT, felt like we were going to lose. I just started trying some different things to get something going.”
