Rifle Wins SEARC No. 6

Charleston, S.C. The NC State rifle team took first place at the SEARC No. 6 to remain undefeated in the conference. The Pack also won both NRA sectionals, with multiple shooters receiving medals in the competition. NC State scored a 2,268 in the air-rifle and 2,218 in smallbore. Katie Siegert led the team in both events, scoring a 564 in smallbore and 575 in air-rifle. The Pack is now 19-7 (13-0 SEARC/0-6 GARC) on the season.

Citadel competed in the smallbore event with a team score of 2,169. Clemson also participated, posting a 1,847 in the smallbore. The Pack took first with a team score of 2,218.

NC State heads to the GARC Championships in two weeks, followed by the SEARC Championships, which the Pack won last season.
