Football to Hold Open Practice

RALEIGH, N.C. NC State fans will have an opportunity to watch the Wolfpack football team as it prepares for its December 29 game against Rutgers at the Papajohns.com Bowl. Head football coach Tom O’Brien will open practice to the public on Saturday, Dec. 20. Action is slated to run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Carter-Finley Stadium and fans are encouraged to attend the men’s basketball game against Lipscomb at the RBC Center at 2 p.m. and then walk over to the open practice.
Parking for the basketball game will be in effect. Fans attending the football practice only will need to enter Gate B off of Trinity Rd., and park on the south side of the stadium.
The north gates of the stadium will open for entry at 4 p.m. and restrooms on the east side will be available. Seating will available on the east side of the stadium, as well as both end zones.
NC State will square off against Rutgers on Monday, Dec. 29, at the PapaJohns.com Bowl in Birmingham, Ala. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST. The game will be broadcast by ESPN.
