Rifle Wins SEARC No. 2

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team won its home match over North Georgia and Georgia Military College with a team total of 2,287 in the air rifle only competition. The top four scores of the day were all made by NC State shooters, with senior Noel Keck scoring 577. The Pack is now 9-1 (7-0 SEARC/0-1 GARC) on the season. North Georgia scored 2,085 and Georgia Military posted a score of 2,056.

Freshman Rachel Jones scored a 574 for the second highest score of the day, and junior Katie Siegert posted a 571. Junior Samantha Bullard was the fourth shooter for the Pack and she posted a 565.

The Pack will next travel to Dalonega, Ga. on Nov. 15 to compete in the SEARC No. 3.
