No. 30 Women's Golf Finishes Fall in Wimington

The 29th-ranked women’s golf team wraps up the fall schedule at The Landfall Tradition hosted by UNC Wilmington in Wilmington, N.C. The three-day, 54-hole tournament runs Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26 from tree-lined Jack Nicklaus course. (Par 72, 6,058 yards).
The seventh annual event includes a highly competitive field featuring 12 teams, including six top-30 teams coming to Landfall, including North Carolina (10), Wake Forest (12), Ohio State (14), Florida (22), Notre Dame (28) and NC State (29).
Participating Teams: East Carolina, Florida, Michigan, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, North Carolina, NC State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tulsa, Wake Forest
Tee Times: The players begin at 9:12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with a shotgun start. NC State is playing in the first group with UNC and Notre Dame with tee times from 9:12 to 9:48 a.m.

Lauren Doughtie has turned in a strong fall. She sank birdies on the 16th and 18th holes in the final round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships in Knoxville, Tenn., to claim medalist honors. She was named Golf World Magazine’s Women’s Player-of-the-Week after shooting a 7-under-par 209, breaking the school record for best 54-hole performance.
Freshman Hunter Ross makes her debut this fall by playing in the fifth slot for coach Page Marsh. The other four golfers have competed all three previous events this season.
