What should I wear/bring to tryouts? All participants should wear long black plants and a sports bra for both tryout days. Bring any jazz shoe of your choice, running shoes and water.
How much time is involved in being a member of the NCSU Dance Team? The team practices four times a week in addition to any games that occur during that time. There are also occasional community appearances, school events or fundraisers that occur during the week.
What should I expect from Practice? Staying in peak physical condition is an important part of being a member of the NCSU dance team. Each practice begins with running one mile and ends with performing abdominal exercises. The remaining practice time consists of stretching, working on technique and learning and perfecting routines.
