McCauley Named to All-ACC Academic Team

Raleigh, N.C. - For the second straight year, NC State's Ben McCauley has been named to the All-ACC Academic Men's Basketball Team, as announced today by Commissioner John Swofford. To be eligible for consideration, a player must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
As a first-year starter, McCauley was the only Wolfpack player to start all 36 games this past season. McCauley finished second in the ACC in field goal percentage (.584), ninth in rebounding (6.9) and 15th in the ACC in scoring (14.4). For his efforts, McCauley was an All-ACC honorable mention selection.
