Women's Golf Team remains in 17th at Bryan National

BROWNS SUMMITT, N.C. – NC State sits in 17th place after Saturday’s second round at the Bryan National at Bryan Park Golf Club’s Champions Course. The Wolfpack has posted a two-day team total of +56 (314-318=632).
Lauren Doughtie shot an 80 on Saturday, but still heads the Wolfpack effort. She is tied for 41st overall at +11 (75-80=155).
Junior Stephanie Derrey shot a six-over 78 for the best round of the day for NC State and is tied for 53rd overall at +13 (79-78=157) after 36 holes.
Freshman Emily Street carded her second straight round of 80 to tie for 60th at +16 (80-80=160).
Freshman Kathleen Strandberg struggled with an 84 on Saturday and sits in a tie for 78th. Classmate Joanna Saleeby improved five shots from Friday with an 80 and is tied for 82nd heading to Sunday’s final round.
Duke’s Amanda Blumenhurst, the nation’s top-ranked player, and Purdue’s Maria Hernandez have the individual lead with a two day total of even-par 144.
Florida has the team lead, carding a score of 592 over 36 holes. Duke and Purdue is one shot back at 593.
The third and final round gets underway with a shotgun start at 11 am.
