Few Spots Remain for Upcoming Softball Camps

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State softball camps are rapidly approaching, and few spots remain up for grabs. May 15th stands as the early deadline for on campus housing. The Advanced Skills camp will be held June 11-14, while the Elite camp (high school only) will run June 18-21.

This year's softball camp promises to continue its tradition of a solid coaching staff. Coaches scheduled to lend a hand include:

* Jim Peterson - Canadian national team assistant coach
* Dana Sorensen - UC Davis assistant coach, former USA pitcher, All-America at Stanford
* Angel Santiago - UNLV assistant coach
* NC State team and coaching staff

"These camps are about learning softball from the best, so that you can become the best possible player," said NC State head coach Lisa Navas.

"We look forward to another great year of camp at NC State," said Navas. "I enjoy the staff we have working, which makes all of us as coaches better."
