Rifle Takes Third To Army, Nebraska

West Point, N.Y. - The NC State rifle team took third in the match against Army and Nebraska on Sunday, Nov. 18 in West Point, N.Y. The Pack shot a total of 4,505, while Army took first with a total of 4,660. Nebraksa shot an overall score of 4,584. The Pack is now 4-5 (3-4 GARC) on the season.
NC State was led by Thomas Knight in both smallbore and air rifle. Four of the team members shot a 570 or higher in the air rifle. The Pack shot a team score of 2,216 in the smallbore and a 2,289 in the air rifle.
The Woflpack will return to action for the spring season as they head to the Palmyra Invitational on Jan. 12.
