NC State fans eager to relive one of the school’s most enduring triumphs can reserve copies of two new items that celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Wolfpack’s improbable 1983 NCAA Championship.
Between now and Nov. 15, in a GoPack.com exclusive, fans can reserve a personalized, autographed copy of author Tim Peeler’s new book, When March Went Mad: A Celebration of NC State’s 1982-83 National Championship. Reserved copies of the 300-page book from Sports Publishing LLC will be autographed by Peeler, GoPack.com’s managing editor, and mailed in early November. A portion of the proceeds will benefit selected charities.

Fans can also buy a DVD version of the 1983 NCAA title game between the Wolfpack and Houston, a game that pitted Jim Valvano’s Cardiac Pack against Phi Slama Jama, led by future hall of fame players Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon. The 68-minute DVD, produced by Team Marketing through NCAA On Demand, provides a full-screen, digital version of the television broadcast of one of college basketball’s most enduring upsets.
