Rifle Wins SEARC No. 5

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State rifle team took first place in the SEARC No. 5 on Saturday, Jan. 27 in Raleigh, N.C. The red and white defeated both The Citadel and NGCSU in the air-rifle competition. Katie Siegert posted a personal best of 576 in the air-rifle, helping the team to a 2,260 NCAA/2,280 SEARC total score. The Wolfpack improves to 13-3 (9-0 SEARC/1-3 GARC) on the season.
The Pack will take on the United States Military Academy all day tomorrow, Sunday, Jan. 28 in Holly Springs, N.C. at the Wake County Firearms Education Center.
