Basketball Adds Johnson to Roster

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State head men's basketball coach Sidney Lowe has announced that Marques Johnson has joined the Wolfpack squad. Johnson, a 6-5, 205 guard from Ft. Wayne, Ind., has transferred from Tennessee after spending one semester in Knoxville.
Johnson is enrolled in classes at NC State for the spring semester and will be eligible to compete after the fall semester ends. He will miss the first half of the 2007-08 campaign, but he is allowed to practice with the team till that time.
