Game Two Of NC State-UNC Series Suspended

NC State and North Carolina will resume their suspended game from Saturday at noon on Sunday with the score tied at 2-2 in the top of the 12th inning.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The second contest of a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series between No. 7 NC State and No. 1 North Carolina at Boshamer Stadium was suspended in the top of the 12th inning with the score 2-2 due to heavy rain and lightning in the area.

The Wolfpack had a runner in scoring position at second with one out when the game went into the delay. The two rivals will finish the remainder of Saturday's contest starting at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, followed by the final game of the series at its regularly scheduled time of 1:30 unless the second contest runs over further.

The game will be broadcast live on WKNC-FM (88.1) and online at gopack.com. There are a limited number of tickets available for the game. Fans interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets at the trailer outside the front gate at Boshamer Stadium starting at 11:30 a.m.
