RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team returned to action on Sunday, Jan. 22, in Raleigh for a small bore competition against Virginia Military Institute and the Citadel. NC State fired a 2,206 total score, good for second overall, topping the Citadel women's team, and co-ed squads from the Citadel and VMI. VMI's main team won the event outright, with a 2,238 total.
