NC State Set To Roast Bob Guzzo

RALEIGH, N.C. - Retired NC State wrestling coach Bob Guzzo will be honored on October 1 in a roast to be held at the Murphy Football Center.
Guzzo retired this past May after a 30-year career that included 356 dual-match victories, 13 Atlantic Coast Conference championships, four individual national champions, and a host of individual ACC champions and All-Americans. Guzzo was a six-time ACC Coach of the Year, and retired as the second winningest coach in ACC history.
Guzzo will be roasted in a lighthearted evening that will be filled with memories. Speakers will include NC State AD Lee Fowler, head football coach Chuck Amato, and head basketball coach Herb Sendek. Don Shea will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Admission to the roast will be $25 per person. Payments can be made by check, payable to NC State University, and sent to Box 8502, Raleigh, NC 27695, and sent to the attention of Justin Gainey.
