Staff Names Team Captains

The NC State football coaching staff has selected temporary team captains for the 2004-05 season. On the offensive side of the ball, center Jed Paulsen will act as temporary captain. Roverback Andre Maddox and linebacker Pat Thomas will be the captains for the defense with safety Troy Graham representing the special teams. Permanent captains will be voted on by the squad at the conclusion of the season. NC State will open its 2004 season against Richmond this Saturday (6:00 p.m.) at Carter-Finley Stadium.
