Sean Locklear will report to training camp today after signing a contract with the Seattle Seahawks. Locklear, a 6-4, 301-pound guard from NC State, was taken in the third round of April's NFL Draft. During his career with the Wolfpack, Locklear established himself as one of the ACC's most versatile offensive linemen, playing as many as four different positions over his last two seasons.
The Lumberton native was named first-team All-ACC after putting together a solid 2003 campaign for the Pack. Locklear started his college career on the defensive side of the ball before being moved prior to his junior year. Financial details of his contract were not released.
The Seahawks are holding preseason workouts at Eastern Washington University.
