Ats?r Named to Turkish National Team

NC State's Engin Ats?r has been named to the National Team for his native Turkey.

Raleigh, N.C. - Wolfpack guard Engin Ats?r has been named to the National Team for his native Turkey. The rising sophomore, who is taking summer school classes at NC State, will return to Istanbul next week and will report to the national camp in late July.

Ats?r will not be able to play the team's complete schedule, as the fall semester at NC State begins on August 18, but he will be available to compete when the squad competes against the United States Olympic team on August 8.

Ats?r was a first-team choice on the All-ACC freshman squad last season after ranking fourth in the league in three-point percentage (.437) against league competition.
