Hi my name is Lorraine Ballerano. I am a sophomore business finance major from Myrtle Beach, SC.
Greetings from Orlando!! It is 10:45 pm we are checked in our rooms and getting things together for tomorrow. The flight down was great, a direct flight from Raleigh with no delays.
We met this afternoon at preflight about 4:15 to head to the airport. We had all spent the morning taking exams. Some where able to finish their exams before we headed out and others have to finish up next week. I was only able to take my Macroeconomics final before we left. I will have Managerial Accouting, Marketing, and Business Spanish when we return. My travel bag was quite heavy with all the books in it.
Before our flight we grabbed at quick dinner at the Varsity Grill and ran into about thirty army soliders. They had finished training in Jacksonville and where headed to Missouri and California for more army training. Seeing and talking with them made us remember how lucky we are to be playing golf this week!
Tomorrow morning we will have our first opportunity to see the course and get ready for the tournament. Looks like we are going to have great weather this week, sunny and 85 everyday!
We are all looking forward to a great week and Colby will update you tomorrow after our practice round.
Lorraine
