NC State-Georgia Tech Baseball Rained Out

NC State's doubleheader with Georgia Tech was rained out on Saturday. A doubleheader is scheduled for Sunday beginning at 10 a.m.

RALEIGH, N.C - They waited for nearly six hours for the rain to break, but in the end, the Atlantic Coast Conference baseball doubleheader between NC State and Georgia Tech scheduled for Saturday at Doak Field was rained out.

The two teams will try to beat rain in advance of another approaching frontal system by playing a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Both games will be nine-inning games. Because Sunday is the last scheduled day of the series and conference rules do not allow a series to be prolonged past its scheduled completion date, Sunday's doubleheader will be the only two games in the series.

Both games will be broadcast on WKNC-FM (88.1), with the broadcasts available on gopack.com through Yahoo's subscription service. Live in-game stats will be available on gopack.com via the Gametracker.
