NC State Baseball Announces Schedule Revisions

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series between NC State and Georgia Tech scheduled for this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Doak Field has been changed to a Saturday-Sunday series. The change was prompted by conflicts with Georgia Tech's exam schedule, which runs through Friday. NC State's exams begin that Monday, forcing the two teams to play three games in two days.
The Wolfpack and Yellow Jackets now are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 1, beginning at 2 p.m. at Doak Field. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. The two clubs will wrap up the series as scheduled on Sunday, May 2, starting at 2 p.m. at the Doak.
In addition to the Georgia Tech series, the Wolfpack's two-game series May 15-16 at No. 1-ranked Texas has been changed to a doubleheader on May 15. The first game will begin at 1 p.m. CDT.
