The NC State football team will wrap-up its spring practice period with the annual Spring Football Game, set to begin at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday afternoon at Carter-Finley Stadium. Admission to the scrimmage is free. The competition this spring has been hot and heavy at numerous positions, especially at the quarterback spot where Jay Davis and Marcus Stone have been battling for the right to replace ACC Player of the Year Philip Rivers. The Pack, which opens its 2004 season with a home game against Richmond on September 4, is coming off an 8-5 campaign that included a victory over Kansas in the Tangerine Bowl.
