Red Team Prevails 18-9 In Red-White Wrestling Match

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Red team won five of eight matches, including a technical fall by Jeremy Colbert at 184 pounds, to defeat the White team 18-9 in the NC State wrestling team's annual Red-White match. The Red team won the first match, dropped three, and then won the final four matches. There was no match at 197 pounds, and the bout at 174 was merely an exhibition and did not count toward the team score.
Redshirt-sophomore Garrett Cummings at 125 and freshman Kody Hamrah at 157 both got major decisions for the Red team, and freshman Jeremy Colbert won by technical fall at 184.
