NC State Gears up for Visit From ESPN Gameday

All NC State students and fans are encouraged to come and be a part of the excitement, as ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast live from Carter-Finley Stadium on Friday afternoon and Saturday before the Wolfpack's game with Miami. In addition, the State Fair will be held across the street, the Walk of Champions will be held at 5:30 p.m., and the men's basketball team's Red/White game will begin at 5:45. Kickoff for the NC State - Miami game is at 7:47 p.m.
On Friday, there will be a live shot from the GameDay set, which will be located on the front lawn of the RBC Center behind the football scoreboard, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. ESPN will also tape segments for Friday night's SportsCenter during that time.
On Saturday, taping for SportsCenter begins at 10:00 a.m. and the live broadcast of College GameDay will begin at 10:30 and run until noon. There will also be live shots throughout the day from the set.
Because of the traffic issues associated with the State Fair, all stadium and arena parking lots will open for pass holders at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to avoid Hillsborough Street, Trinity Road and to access the stadium and arena parking from Edwards Mill Road or Wade Avenue.
There will also be Park-and-Ride shuttles operating from 8:00 a.m. until midnight from various locations around Raleigh (see list below).
