NC State's home football game against the University of Miami on October 23rd will either be played at 7:00 p.m. or 7:45. For a 7:00 p.m. kick off, the contest would air on ESPN2. ESPN will carry the telecast if the game begins at 7:45. A final decision will be made by next weekend. It is also important to note that this particular game will coincide with the annual North Carolina State Fair, which will be taking place adjacent to Carter-Finley Stadium. An extensive park and tide program has been developed for that day.
Important Parking Information for NC State - Miami Game on Oct. 23
The scheduled football game for October 23rd between NCSU and the University of Miami will prevent public parking motorists from using Carter-Finley Stadium and three former public parking lots along Trinity Road for the entire day. An extensive park and ride program has been developed for public accommodation on this day. The program will be provided for the general public for parking and transportation service to and from the State Fair and/or the Game on the specific Saturday, October 23rd
The locations the public may park for this transportation program include the following:
-Moore Square Parking Deck in Downtown Raleigh also picks up from CAT Bus Stops located along Hillsborough Street between Downtown Raleigh and Meredith College
-2912 Wake Forest Road (Alcatel Location near the corner of Six Forks Road and Wake Forest Road)
-SAS Soccer Stadium located on Hillsborough Street in Cary
-NCSU Campus - Dan Allen Drive Parking Deck
-McKimmon Center - located at the intersection of Gorman Street and Western Boulevard
-Wachovia Operations Building located on Corporate Center Drive
-North Carolina Museum of Art located on Blue Ridge Road
Each of these locations will offer parking and bus transportation for general public use on this final Saturday of the North Carolina State Fair. Service will be available on this day from 8:00 a.m. - midnight on October 23rd.
