The NC State athletics department has teamed up with the Communications Technologies department to bring Saturday's football game against UNC into every dorm room. The game will be broadcast on WolfBytes (Channel 85) and will go anywhere that has access to the campus cable system. Those areas include each residence hall (approximately 4,000 sets), fraternity court and the Wolves Den in the Talley Student Center.
Director of Athletics Lee Fowler and his staff worked to make the broadcast available to students without tickets to the sold-out event. "It was very important that we make every attempt to try to give our students the chance to see the television broadcast without having to pay," said Director of Athletics Lee Fowler. "We know how important this rivalry game is to our students, so we're pleased that this was possible."
"We are excited to provide an opportunity for students to watch the State-UNC game on WolfBytes Television and hope that anyone that is not fortunate enough to watch the game in person will enjoy watching it on campus, " said Jennifer Van Horn, Director of Communication Technologies.
