RALEIGH, N.C. - With two wins over previously 10th-ranked Clemson this past weekend, the NC State baseball team has moved up four spots in the latest Collegiate Baseball poll, from 16th to No. 12. This is the third week in a row that Collegiate Baseball has ranked NC State in its national poll.
The Wolfpack also moved up two spots in this week's Baseball America poll, from 17th to 15th. In the USA Today Sports Weekly poll, the Pack jumped from No. 21 to No. 18.
NC State, now 23-7 overall and 4-2 in the ACC, was last ranked as high as 12th nationally on May 5, 1997, when Collegiate Baseball had the Wolfpack ranked ninth.
