Rising senior quarterback Philip Rivers will be honored at the Columbus Touchdown Club's 48th Annual All-Sports Banquet Friday, February 7, in Columbus, Ohio. The 6-5, 240 pound Rivers was honored two season's ago by the CTC as "Freshman of the Year," and is being welcomed back after leading NC State to a 28-6 romp of Notre Dame in the Toyota Gator Bowl.

Rivers finished the 2002 season with a passing efficiency rating of 141.1, completing 266-of-418 attempts on the season, and accumulating a total 3,353 yards.

The awards banquet will be held at the PromoWest Pavilion, in the Arena District of Downtown Columbus.
