Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Spring 2003 semester 210 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 107 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor cross country's Kristin Price and men's soccer Haddon Kirk.

She's been on the NC State Dean's List and ACC Honor Roll every semester since coming to NC State. Kristin was also chosen as an Academic All-American.
Haddon Kirk |
Haddon Kirk is a redshirt freshman on the NC State men's soccer team. The native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina plays Midfield for the Wolfpack. The Materials Engineering major has compiled a 4.00 Total Grade Point Average. He's also been on the ACC Honor Roll and NC State Dean's List every semester since enrolling at NC State.
