Wolfpack Picked to Finish 4th in Men's Basketball Race

Greensboro, N.C.-NC State, which is coming off of back-to-back appearances in the ACC Tournament championship game, has been tabbed to finish 4th in the ACC men's basketball race. The Wolfpack received a total of 300 points in the preseason poll, which was formulated from ballots cast at the ACC's annual operation basketball Sunday in Greensboro. With 493 points total, Duke has been picked as the team to beat, followed by North Carolina and defending regular season champ Wake Forest. NC State junior Julius Hodge was chosen as a member of the league's preseason all-conference team.
