NC State Rifle Wins ACC Invitational

Trey Ragsdale and Alexis Davis led NC State (1,474 team score) over Clemson (1,421) and Duke (915) in the ACC Invitational at the Wake County Range in Holly Springs, NC. Ragsdale fired a personal best 376 to led NC State, while Davis fired a 365 to record her personal best match score. It was her first time shooting on the scoring team, which is the top-four shooters who are declared before a match by each team.
Joe Upton, senior team captain, fired another solid match with a 367. Melanie Harris fired a 366 to round out the scoring team for the Wolfpack.
Clemson had the only score in the individual top-five that did not belong to a Wolfpack shooter, with fifth place individual Wood firing a 364.
