Bowker and Hennessey Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Fall 2001 semester, 228 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 109 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Junior golf team member, Margaux Hennessey and Senior cross country member, Harold Dean Bowker.

Margaux Hennessey, a junior from St. Louis, Missouri is a member of the NC State's women's golf team. Margaux strives to achieve on the course as well as in the classroom. Her major is Business where she holds a Total Grade Point Average of 3.78. Margaux is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Harold Dean Bowker is also a senior from Raleigh. Harold runs on the NC State cross country team. He is majoring in Electrical Engineering and strives to achieve academically with a Total Grade Point Average of 3.50.
Congratulations to both Margaux and Harold and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
