NC State, picked to finish second in the upcoming ACC football race, is ranked 25th in the preseason USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll. The Wolfpack joins two other ACC teams in the poll. League favorite Florida State is ranked fourth, while defending champ Maryland is No. 20.
Miami, last season's national champion, is ranked No. 1.
