30,000 FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS SOLD BEFORE JULY 1

Raleigh, N.C. - It what continues to be an annual trend for NC State Football under the leadership of head coach Chuck Amato, season ticket sales increase and are selling at a faster pace. For the first time in school history, the NC State Athletic Department is pleased to announce that over 30,000 season tickets have been sold before July 1 for this upcoming season.
Currently, Wolfpack Fans have purchased 30,044 season tickets - just 319 season tickets away from last season's record-setting year. With less than 1,500 season tickets remaining for sale in the eight week period prior to the season's start, the Wolfpack is set to chalk up a second straight sold-out season at Carter-Finley Stadium.
NC State opens the 2002 season hosting New Mexico in the BCA Classic on August 24 at Carter-Finley Stadium.
