Wolfpack Football Ranked 24th In Latest Preseason Poll

Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State football team has been ranked 24th in preseason poll released today by The Sporting News. That latest poll marks the fourth top-25 preseason rank for the Pack in 2002.

NC State is one of just two ACC schools to make it into TSN's top 25. Florida State was listed second, while Maryland and Clemson were listed in the publication's "Next Five."

Earlier this spring, NC State was ranked 19th in Athlon's preseason poll, CBS Sportsline picked the Wolfpack No. 22 in their preseason prognostications, and CNNSI ranked the Wolfpack 23rd.
