Haley and Kreager Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields.
Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Fall 2001 semester, 228 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 109 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Senior women's volleyball player Alison Kreager and Senior Men's Swimmer Tim Haley.

Alison Kreager is a senior from Ligonier, IN. She also plays middle blocker on the NC State's Volleyball team. Kreager recently was named a third-team Verizon Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Alison sports a perfect 4.00 Total Grade Point Average in Biological Sciences.

Tim Haley is a senior from Carmel,In. He is a member of the Men's Swim team and majors in MultiDisplinary Studies. Tim not only succeeds in the water but also with his grades. He has a Total Grade Point Average of 3.952.
Congratulations to both Alison and Tim and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
