Women's Golf Tied for 14th At East Regional

Baton Rouge, LA- Coach Page Marsh led the Wolfpack to their first ever NCAA Regional at the University Club near the Louisiana State University campus. Colby Cobb is the highest placing golfer after the first round for the Wolfpack after firing a one-over-par 73 in first round action. She stands tied for 21st heading into the second round on Friday. Cobb, Sarah Bonner, and Leslie Stubblefield all fired three birdies on the day for the Wolfpack.
Sarah Bonner is tied for 28th with a two-over-par 74. Bonner's stroke average of 77 lead the Wolfpack in the regular season.
Malin Claesson is knotted at 56th with a five-over-par 77. Claesson set the school record for lowest scoring round with a 70 early this year.
Erica Wein eagled the 11th hole and ended round one tied for 80th with a 79.
Leslie Stubblefield closed with an 80 and currently resides in a tie for 88th place.
Tee times for the second round begin at 7:30am, with the Wolfpack golfers teeing off in the morning round.
