Langendorf and Sandhu Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields.
Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Fall 2001 semester, 228 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 109 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Senior gymnast Amy Langendorf and Junior Men's tennis player Jagjeet Sandhu.

Amy Langendorf is on the NC State gymnastics team. She is a senior this year from Gambrills, MD. She currently has a Total Grade Point Average of 3.09 in Industrial Engineering.

Jagjeet Sandhu currently plays for the NC State Men's tennis team. Sandhu is a junior from Brampton, Canada. He not only excels on the tennis court but also in the classroom. He currently sports a Total GPA of 3.14 majoring in Business Management.
Congratulations to both Amy and Jagjeet and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
