Former NC State football star Torry Holt, now a standout receiver with the NFL's St. Louis Rams, would like to invite Wolfpack fans to participate in his charity golf tournament to be held Tuesday, April 9 at the Crooked Creek Golf Club in Fuquay-Varina, NC. All proceeds will benefit The Holt Foundation, which Torry established in memory of his mother who lost her battle to cancer. Torry hopes to provide assistance to families in which a parent has been stricken with cancer.
Many of Holt's teammates, including running back Marshall Faulk, quarterback Kurt Warner and receiver Az Hakim, are among several NFL and local celebrities that will be on hand for the tournament. On Monday, April 8, a Tee-Off Party and Auction will be held at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley to kick off the event.
