Burnette captures Defensive Lineman of the Week honors for third time.

For the third time this season and second consecutive week, NC State's Dantonio Burnette has been honored as the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week. The senior middle linebacker from Warner Robbins, Georgia put together yet another eye-opening performance last weekend with his play against Georgia Tech.

In the Wolfpack's 24-17 loss to the Yellow Jackets, Burnette had 18 tackles and an interception. He was also instrumental in a pair of spectacular goal-line stands that kept Tech out of the end zone. Burnette was involved in three of the six tackles that stopped the Jackets shy of the goal line.
