Following a one-week absence, NC State is making a return to the national rankings. The Wolfpack is ranked No. 20 in this week's new ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, released on Sunday. NC State ended its regular season with an impressive 17-7 victory over ACC Champion Florida State.
The win was the Pack's second in a row over the powerful Seminoles and third in the last five years. At 10-3 overall and 5-3 in the ACC, NC State will now have to wait for the bowl picture to play out before it learns of its postseason destination.
