T.A. McLendon, who needs 31 yards rushing in Saturday's game against Florida State to become only the fifth freshman in ACC history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season, is once again the ACC Rookie of the Week. McLendon is sharing the award this week with Clemson cornerback Justin Miller.
In the Wolfpack's 14-9 loss at Virginia on Saturday, McLendon carried the ball 22 times for 75 yards, while also adding 10 receptions for 70 yards. He has now earned rookie of the week honors on four separate occasions this season.
Along with pursuing the 1,000-yard plateau this Saturday, McLendon also needs two rushing touchdowns to break Stan Fritts' single season school mark of 16.
