"Thunder Dan" Named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

NC State's Dantonio Burnette is being honored for his standout performance in NC State's 24-22 victory over Duke on Saturday. The senior middle linebacker has been named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week after being credited with 12 tackles in Saturday's contest.
Burnette's day included five tackles for losses, three of which were quarterback sacks that totaled 24 yards. With five TFLs, the native of Warner Robbins, Georgia native moved past Levar Fisher (1998-2001) and has tied Tyler Lawrence (1990-93) for second place in school history with 38 for his career.
Burnette and the Wolfpack (8-0) will be looking to stay unbeaten when they face Clemson on the road this Thursday night at 7:45. The Pepsi Pregame Show on the Wolfpack Radio Network begins at 6:45 p.m.
