Jordan and Kiker Named Caterpillar Scholar Athletes

Caterpillar is proud to partner with NC State to present a program that honors the achievements of our student-athletes in the classrooms as well as on the playing fields. Each month two Wolfpack Scholar athletes will be selected as a member of the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team. To be named to the Caterpillar Scholar Athlete team, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.00 GPA for at least one semester and be a full-time student at NC State.
During the Fall 2001 semester, 228 Wolfpack Student Athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.00 or higher and 109 student-athletes were Dean's List honorees.
This month Caterpillar and NC State are proud to honor Senior women's soccer team member, Kelly Jordan and Senior football player, Adam Kiker.
Kelly Jordan |
Kelly Jordan, is a senior from Gambrills, Maryland. She is a member of the NC State's women's soccer team and her position is defender. Jordan strives to achieve on the field as well as in the classroom. Her major is Parks Recreation Tourism where she holds a Total Grade Point Average of 3.94. Kelly also is a recipient of 2001 and 2002 Arthur Ashe Award. She has made deans list each semester and ACC Honor Roll. Jordan was awarded the Academic Merit Scholarship. She also was accepted into Rho Phi Lambda, PRT Honor Society.

Adam Kiker is also a senior from Wadesboro. Adam is a member of the NC State football team. His major is Aerospace Engineering. He holds the highest GPA on the football team, with a Total Grade Point Average 3.939. He is a NCSU Scholar Athlete and also is a member of the Engineering Honor Society.
Congratulations to both Kelly and Adam and all the other Caterpillar Scholar Athletes.
