T.A. McLendon and Chris Colmer have been recognized by the ACC for their performances in NC State's 34-17 victory at North Carolina on Saturday. McLendon, a freshman running back, was named the league's Rookie of the Week, while Colmer, a junior offensive tackle, is the Offensive Lineman of the Week.
McLendon grabbed rookie honors for the third time this season after rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries against the Tar Heels. The Albemarle native has now rushed for more than 100 yards in three consecutive games and leads the ACC in touchdowns with 12.
One of the players paving the way for McLendon was Colmer, who graded out 95 percent on 69 snaps. The Pack's left tackle had 16 knockdown blocks and five pancake blocks against UNC.
