NC State Athletic Teams Resume Schedules

Following last week's tragic attack on America, NC State athletics director Lee Fowler ordered the postponement of all athletic competition through the weekend.

But this week, many Wolfpack sports teams will be back in action. The men's and women's soccer squads will both return to the playing field on Wednesday, September 19. Men's soccer, which had a conference game against Maryland postponed on Saturday, is scheduled to entertain Charleston Southern at Method Road Soccer Stadium at 4:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, the women will meet Virginia in a key conference clash at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. That contest will be staged at the WRAL CASL Complex Stadium Field.

Uva will also provide the opposition for the NC State volleyball squad on Friday. Match time at Reynolds Coliseum is 7 p.m.

The Wolfpack football team (1-0) will travel to Dallas to take on SMU on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. State's scheduled home game against Ohio last Thursday was postponed until Saturday, November 24.
