NC State running backs have rushed for more than 1,000 yards in a season nine times. The last Wolfpack back to reach the magic milestone was Tremayne Stephens, who ran for 1,142 yards in 1997. Since 1953, The Atlantic Coast Conference has produced a total of 76 1,000-yard rushers.
