Fisher Honored

Football News announced Thursday that Levar Fisher has been selected as one of its preseason First Team All-Americans for the 2001 season.
This honor comes on the heels of a 2000 season when Fisher ammassed 163 tackles, the most in college football last season. Fisher's performance also landed him All-America honors from Football News and the Football Writers (FWAA) following the Wolfpack's 38-30 victory over Minnesota in the Micron PC.com bowl.
Entering the 2001 campaign, Fisher is seventh in school history with 344 career stops.
